This week or last week, depending on where you look is “E book week”.
I have a love hate relationship with ebooks.
I read my first ebook several years ago when a couple of friends were first published in this format. I do think they offer a wonderful outlet for some authors. There are some excellent books out there that can’t be read any other way. Many people have started their writing careers in the ebook industry. Many choose to remain in both ebook and print books once their careers are established.
Some larger publishing houses are now offering ebooks in different formats. That’s where my love/hate issues come into play. I’m not one to stay reading at my computer, when I’m there my mind is usually more on writing than reading. I love the whole hold a book in my hands and curl up someplace comfy and read. I realize there are options. I've been reading up on the new gadgets available as ebook readers, but as of now I have not come to terms with which one I would like best, my complicated phone is a start. I mention this because I believe ebooks are here to stay and I will always, anyway possible want a good read to enjoy.
