RhondaIt’s nice to be taken care of. I’m the mom and the wife and the daughter and the friend and the co-worker and so on and so forth. No matter how I feel or what’s going on there will always be things I have to do. But sometimes it’s nice to be taken care of and treated special. Don’t get me wrong I have lots of support from my family and friends, but I’m sort of a I’ll do it myself person until something stops me completely. Well I had to have a medical test run last week and it knocked my socks off. I’ve been on medicine and in bed for days. My world came to a complete standstill. My mother did our grocery shopping and my MIL took care of the kids and cleaned my house from top to bottom. Okay, and just about everyplace in between – and let me just say it really needed, I was in a wreck three years ago and well our house has never been the same since, I just can’t do some of the things I used to be able to do regularly. BUT… my MIL well let’s just say she cleaned things even I wouldn’t do regularly before – like she washed my washing machine and took the refrigerator apart and ummm other things too that sort of freaked me out in a good way, lol. Today is the first day I feel like sitting up which is really good, but unfortunately I have to go to a wake tonight, so that’s very much a downer, it’s for a very lovely lady who died way too young.
