The end of August I will be attending the Heather Graham Writers for New Orleans Workshop. I sent out a list of stuff I need/want to accomplish before then to my critique group giving them free rein to badger me until I do it. I’m finding the older I get (did I just say that? I mean really, eyes a rollin’) the more I find having a clear plan/goal makes accomplishing it much easier. I have an editor pitch appointment and I want to be ready.
This is a summary of my list and what I have managed to do. ONE - Finish editing the ST ms, get edits in computer ***paper edits done/1/2 in computer, TWO- Make someone (like JeriJ - who I know is on vacation right now, lol) read ***Ch1-6 are in her in box, the rest will be there when I finish getting edits in computer (oh, maybe tonight, lol), THREE - Tighten up Syn for ST - *gack, not yet. FOUR - Write pitch for ST (omg) *double gack, no. FIVE -Finish the first S&M novella, which is almost ½ done *lol I did write 12 pgs uh two days ago, SIX - Write syn for S&M novella *started, does that count???, SEVEN - Write syn/query type pitch for S&M novellas as anthology *ummm no, EIGHT - Breath * yeah got to remind myself of this – hey it’s a busy month. I have that normal laundry load list of other stuff to do – including my baby starts middle school and I am more upset about this than kindergarten! Oh and we have that little Readers luncheon thing going on too. And well other issues that I hope resolve themselves shortly.
I figure I’ve made some progress I pulled up the original post – it’s dated 7/28, which was Monday and I done some stuff J
